One of the highlights of Bob's life was a trip to the Holy Land, which increased his devotion to daily Mass. They were known for their welcoming hospitality. He and Lorrie saw their many friends and their business as an extension of their own family. He and Lorrie fell in love with the south and decided to stay in Greenville to start their own business, Sportsclub, which began as the first indoor tennis facility in South Carolina and grew to three multi-sport and exercise facilities in the Greenville area. Bob's first career was in the textile business which took him from NYC to the south and traveling to Europe. Besides his wife and extended family, Bob also loved the game of golf. Bob was happiest when surrounded by his whole family together, which happened frequently for holidays and annual beach vacations. Bob and Lorrie were also thrilled to welcome great-grandchildren Everley Niemeier, Wyatt Coggins, Paxton Coggins, Fitz Coggins, Sunnie Coggins, Rosemary Provost and Judah Provost. Niemeier (Thomas), David Coggins (Kendall), Emily Coggins, Jennifer Coggins, Aimee Coggins, Peter Provost (Megan), Clare Provost, Bernadette Provost, Joseph Provost, Paul Provost, Francis Provost, Mary Teresa Provost, Sasha Lewis, Devlyn Lewis, Jackson Popper and Payton Popper. Bob and Lorrie cherished their grandchildren: Laura C. (Heathe), Thomas Provost (Karen), Mary Beth Provost, and Allyson Lewis Popper (Jeff). Bob is survived by five children, Joanne P.
